The word translated as "just" here in Arabic is "wasad," which can also mean "middle." Notice the ayah number: 143. Al-baqarah has 286 ayaat, so it comes right in the middle of the surah. What's makes it amazing is that the surah (like many other long surahs) did not come down all at once, but rather in small segments that were out of order.
The 3d chapter, the 255th ayah in Sura Al Baqara and it's the meaning of ayat al kursi: 255.God, there is no deity but He; the All-Living, the Self-Subsisting (by Whom all subsist). Slumber does

There is no god but He, Al-Hayy (the Ever-living), Al-Qayyum (the Self-subsisting, Eternal). No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Surah Baqarah Ayat 255 in Arabic Text. ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡحَيُّ ٱلۡقَيُّومُۚ لَا تَأۡخُذُهُۥ سِنَةٞ وَلَا نَوۡمٞۚ لَّهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِي Nabi (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said," Surah Fateha, Ayatul Kursi and the two Ayats of Al-Imraan (Shaheedal Allaah - 18th Ayat), and "Qul Allaahumma Malekal mulk til Bi Ghairi Hisaab (Ayat 26/7) are attached to the Arsh and say, "Oh our Rabb, You are sending us onto earth to disobedient ones!!! The title given to Surah al-Baqarah's 255th ayah by Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is “Ayat al Kursi” which would mean: “The verse (sign) of (Allah)’s Dominion” Literally Kursi means the “Footstool” but literal meaning cannot apply here therefore metaphorical meaning has to be taken into account as this magnificent verse explains Allah’s Existence, Sovereignty, Power 6szWWdz.
